In case anyone was curious, the super secret format for sending data to the #ScoutBook #ScoutingAmerica is a pipe delimited file like so.
Here we can see that Happiest Camper McCampsAlot earned merit badge 46 (Environment Science) on 2025-06-12
The magic number 46 is the ScoutBook id, aka column 2, for a badge from http://www.usscouts.org/mb/mbbooks.asp
After uploading your file, a schedule job runs hourly that sweeps your data into the actual roster system.
