This is a rare time when you actually have connection to the news. @q was one of my students in India. Besides being one of the most brilliant people I have ever met, Q is also one of the kindest and most joyful. A rare combination in this day and age. Scotland and @ScottishGreens are very lucky to have them as a new Member of the Scottish Parliament. Congrats, Q!

Here were the winners of all 129 #ScottishParliament seats.

All of the results in Scotland are now in.
The SNP will form a minority government. Labour and Reform have tied for second place; Reform would likely claim official opposition by virtue of having a higher vote share.
The Conservatives have just collapsed, losing more than half of their seats. Modest gains for the Greens and LibDems.

Just waiting on the regional votes in Highlands and Islands, and then the #ScottishParliament results will be complete.
-
All the Scottish constituencies have now declared.
Only three sets of regional list seats to go.
-
Nice to see #ScottishGreens doing well on the regional so far. #scottishParliament

Three regional list results have been declared in the last few minutes.
Reform has won its first ever seats in the Scottish Parliament, most of which have been at the Conservatives' expense.

The Greens have won a second constituency seat in Scotland, taking Glasgow Southside from the SNP.
-
🏴 STATE OF THE PARTIES AT 17:00:
Only a handful of constituencies left to declare, and then we can start getting the regional list results.
The SNP will finish as the largest party, but will finish a few seats short of an overall majority.
-
GREENS GAIN EDINBURGH CENTRAL FROM SNP
Former Green co-leader Lorna Slater becomes the party's first constituency MSP.
Angus Robertson is out of Parliament. (Yes, he's on the SNP list, but the SNP won't win any list seats.)
-
🏴 STATE OF THE PARTIES AT 16:00:
The SNP will fall short of an overall majority, as they're simply not gaining the constituencies that they need.
-
🏴 PROJECTION: SNP MINORITY GOVERNMENT 🏴
It's now clear to me that the SNP will fall short of the 65 seats that they need for an overall majority.
This comes after they lost Edinburgh Northern to the LibDems.
-
Galloway and West Dumfries was another must-win seat for the SNP to get their majority. But the Conservative MSP Finlay Carson has held it.
-
🏴 STATE OF THE PARTIES AT 15:00:
The SNP is dominating the constituencies, as they always do.
They need to gain 2 constituencies to win a majority (I strongly doubt they'll win any list seats at all). That doesn't seem likely at this stage, but it's still too early to call.
-
The SNP has gained Eastwood from the Conservatives.
This was a must-win for the SNP to get an overall majority. That majority is still not the most likely outcome, but it's still too early to rule it out.
-
Labour has gained Na h-Eileanan an Iar (Western Isles) from the SNP.
Not sure this officially takes away the SNP's hopes for a majority, but it certainly doesn't help.
-
Reform was hoping to take Banffshire and Buchan Coast from the SNP. But they fell just short.
Even though they've lost their best chance at a constituency seat, they will certainly win some list seats later this afternoon.
-
The SNP is going to need a new Westminster leader, as Stephen Flynn is on his way from Westminster to Hollyrood.
-
First Minister John Swinney has held his seat in Perthshire North.
-
🏴 STATE OF THE PARTIES AT 14:00:
A few results in, and the SNP vote share is down in most of the constituencies declared so far, and points to them likely falling short of an overall majority.
-
The SNP has held Dundee City West.
But that significant drop in their vote share, just as we saw in Orkney, makes it difficult for me to see how they get a majority. We need to see some seats in the south before I call it though.
