Overview The City of Laurinburg is a city located in and the county seat of Scotland County, North Carolina, formerly home to the now-defunct Saint Andrew’s University prior to May 2025. Today, the community is accessible via Interstate 74 and Routes 15, 401, and 501. Interestingly, Routes 15 and 501 are notable for concurrent corridors as far north as the City of Durham, with Route 15 continuing to the north and Route 501 to the northwest.
