It's very funny when I see my very much younger brother and sister because even though I was the generation using computers weekly and had dial-up at the house and had computer games. It was such a different schooling experience for me. We stopped doing cursive and switched to typing machines and then weekly computer lab time where we did #NumberMaze, #MavisBeaconTeachesTyping, #PuttPutt, and #ScootersMagicCastle, etc.
It was crazy to think I didn't get my first phone till I was about 10-11 and it was a pay-go phone, then a tracfone soon after. Now they're on unlimited plans and can access anything on the internet almost instantly using a used iPhone. I didn't have stable internet to play PS3 era games till I was in high school and at that point I was definitely getting into more PC gaming. Now my little brother uses Discord to message me and has a VR headset.
But also it's weird because my little brother tries to act like me while my little sister doesn't try to act like me but the way she talks just hits me with flashbacks to when I was her age and saying the exact same things.
I do wonder how my kids will be during their generation and schooling.
