Mothman is currently not mothing owing to being on holiday on the Scilly Isles with Mr Mothman Spouse. Mothman did some rock posing and we found some rather stunning shells.

The Scilly Isles are off the coast of Cornwall (so the southernmost point of the UK, that's how I ended up there). The climate is very mild (even in late October) and it's a popular summer destination.
It's very picturesque, with lots of islands to explore, and it's been inhabited quite a while, so there's an Iron Age village and Neolithic tombs.
Like many places dependent on tourism, it has economic problems from seasonal/highly fluctuating income, and the need for visitor accommodation competing with the need for local housing.
