Cedrik Engels aka #DrWhatson hat im März seine #Science Show "Doktor Whatson: Live aus der Zukunft" auf Bühnen in Deutschland und Österreich präsentiert.
Im Sinne von Freiem Wissen für Alle wurde die Aufzeichnung der Show heute kostenlos im Internet veröffentlicht, damit jede:r von seinen einfachen und objektiven (soweit möglich) Erklärungen profitieren kann.

First day of a conference on #ScienceComm and social media at HumLab in Umeå, featuring @simonlindgren and @cfiesler, among others.
Lots of great stuff, such as @cfiesler's suggestion to write short blogs about one's own papers, both for outreach and for busy colleagues.
As I don't have a blog, I'm thinking of using Mastodon for that (I couldn't find two-way integrated macroblogging for the Fediverse), linking the threads on my website.
It would be nice to hear alternative ideas, though!

Anyway, if you're using MicroblogFedi then you need scientists like say @petergleick or @kathhayhoe to see it and boost it. Which means that you need the thread to be # and in relevant groups.
This gives you short term and long term discoverability*.
