Also got this thing evaluated. It's a standard farm issue 25'000 liter diesel tank (sadly empty). If full, it would last us about two centuries.
2.86m diameter and 4.22m long with some indestructable coating and no rust on it, just moss.
The scrap value isn't that great, but there's several peeps selling these intact for around €1k.
So what to do with it?
I offered #Schwiemu to cut a door in and make an apartment for her, but that just earned me a frown.
Maybe an AirBnB for people looking for a break from wifi and cell signals?
Flip it on the end and turn it into an XXL pot for bulk boiling billionaires?
Bury it as bunker/rainwater collector/sewage tank/steel root cellar?

Switched on the Driver Drowsiness Detection feature in #Schwiemu's car while giving it a looking over. Just in case. Didn't think she'd trigger it anytime soon.
Arriving home, she calls to ask what I did because her car told her to drink some coffee. Twice. 😆

@zabow Why? I've got the push&rotate kit for the caliper reset since I did the job already on #Schwiemu's former Octavia. Don't remember any issues from that.
Edit: The EPB is a pain though because you have to put it into maintenance mode and it's all just unnecessary bollocks for the tiny benefit of having a silly little fingerbrake in the cockpit instead of a proper handbrake.

I've previously built a nice scrap wood twin composter for #Schwiemu and that apparently works very well, but this is quicker and you can move them around when empty.

Found a stack of plastic parts leaning on a fence. Looked liked parts for a composter. With some googling, I found what it's supposed to look like when assembled and it was indeed all the parts and in usable condition.
Not as good as the one I built from junk wood for #Schwiemu (it has much smaller vents), but it's a start.
Picked a spot in the corner of the small garden and tossed some rotten logs in the bottom that already had worms eating them.

After a foggy morning, the sun came out. I made a bed from #Schwiemu's pellet shipping pallets.
Pulling the nails took ages, the rest was some bish bash bosh coarse woodworking (the opposite of fine). Cut a bit, sand a bit, screw a lot. Forgot to bring a square, a box lid had to serve. Slat distance? Three knuckles.
One slat somehow went missing. I'll fix that when I make the second bed, hopefully tomorrow.

The hound is having a cuddly day.
Probably lobbying to come along to the homestead. But he's #Schwiemu's dog and has a job here, guarding her chickens and barking at lawn mowers.
