Am heutigen Tag endet etwas (für mich).

… und #Wichtelwichtel gibt es jetzt auch bei unseren #Wichteln im Haus bzw. auf dem Dach. Ob dies an unserem #Chemnitzbesuch liegt?
Egal, mir gefällt es.
Was mir auch gefällt ist, dass der #Befund befundlos war (-: Darf also in 10 Jahren erst wieder kommen.

Heute nur kleines #FrostPendeln. Is aber mit 1° und #Niesel eher bäh.

Oh, almost forgot that I took this for #FensterFreitag. It's my #schwibbogen, purchased years ago on a trip to Germany. I had never heard of them, but a local explained the tradition.

What I realized later is that they make some with #lace makers instead of the manger scene, and at the time I didn't make lace! I so wish I had the other one. Someday maybe....

I bought my #schwibbogen before I was a #lacemaker, and of course am now kicking myself. I could have had the #lace pillow one. Someday....

Despite not really being in the mood this year at least the folkloristic #holidaydecor is up and running now. These kind of candle arches called
#Schwibbogen are traditional in the Ore Mountain (#Erzgebirge) region of Germany, a former silver mining area. They were originally lit by candles and designed to comfort mine workers often who didn't see sunlight for months during long working days in winter. Traditional designs revolve around Christian themes and local iconography.
