Si ustedes están buscando una película de aventuras que defina a la perfección el cine de espada y brujería, tienen que ver este clásico protagonizado por Arnold Schwarzenegger. La historia nos lleva a una época prehistórica imaginaria muy antigua donde un niño ve cómo un grupo de guerreros destruye su aldea, mata a sus padres y lo vende como esclavo. Con los años, este niño crece atado a una enorme rueda de molino, lo que le da una fuerza física impresionante que después aprovecha para convertirse en el gladiador más famoso del mundo y, tras conseguir su libertad, iniciar un viaje lleno de peligros para vengarse del hombre que acabó con su familia.
La producción destaca por completo por su atmósfera sucia, realista y cruda, muy alejada de los efectos por computadora actuales. Arnold Schwarzenegger da vida al personaje con una presencia física imponente que encaja de forma exacta con la visión del director, quien prefirió usar escenarios naturales en España, espadas reales de gran peso y decorados gigantescos construidos a mano para que todo el entorno se sintiera vivo y pesado. Un elemento que eleva la película a la categoría de obra de arte es su increíble banda sonora compuesta por Basil Poledouris, la cual utiliza coros masivos y orquestas gigantes para narrar la historia de fondo como si fuera una ópera antigua, compensando la falta de diálogos largos con pura fuerza musical. Esta película no es un simple cuento de acción vacío, sino una obra con un trasfondo de filosofía clásica sobre la fuerza de voluntad humana, el acero y la supervivencia en un mundo salvaje.

Total Recall turns 36 years old today. It premiered back in 1990.
Based off "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale" penned by Philip K. Dick, it earned $260+ million dollars.
It did get a 2012 remake, but I think it's safe to say the original is better received.

Based off "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale" penned by Philip K. Dick, it earned $260+ million dollars.

Ce soir je tombe par hasard sur le #film "Last Action Hero" de 1993 avec Arnold #Schwarzenegger qui au tournant de sa carrière accepte un rôle qui parodie l'ensemble de sa filmographie d'alors. Fable surréaliste ce film est sous côté et montre que sous les muscles Arnold avait un cerveau ... un peu nostalgique de le revoir sachant qu'à l'époque je participais à la vie d' un cinéma associatif ce qui me permettait de voir les film à l'oeil parfois derrière le projecteur 🎥🎬
