I'm a lover of dark lagers, schwarzbier if you will. This goes way back like 50 years ago when I first tasted Dos Equis. I always look for the dark lagers lurking among the IPAs whenever I'm out in a brewpub or taproom. This Gato Grande I found at TJs. It's brewed by Iron Horse Brewery in Ellensburg, who also brew Irish Death, a dark ale that packs a punch. This is going down pretty good on a warm humid afternoon. #beer #lager #darklager #schwarzbier #IronHorseBrewery

Die Schalen des Spargel ergaben eine ganz vorzügliche Spargelcremesuppe 🤤 , leider habe ich heute kein Bild für euch. 😉
Beim Aufräumen der Flaschenkammer fand sich sogar noch ein #Schwarzbier zum nachspülen.
Ich werde später prima schlafen (wegen dem Bier) und ständig auf den Pott müssen (wegen dem Bier und der Suppe).
Ein Dilemma 😂

The first seasonal #beer of 2023 from #DoubleMountainBrewery is Never Too Loud, a German-style #Schwarzbier that the brewery released last month. The brewery sent me a bottle to review; it's 4.6% ABV with 25 IBUs and is nicely drinkable.
