Here is the ultimate problem of #Maxwell, #Schrodinger, and #Einstein. All of them assumed a single charge moving in an electromagnetic #EM field. Schrodinger and Einstein used Maxwell's single charge assumption. In reality, say on the surface of metal, charges interact with each other. #Lorenz tried to solve the two charges case but failed. Schrodinger used a "charge density", not a charge and applied Maxwell's equations. Einstein used Maxwell's equations by ignoring the assumption. #physics
