Made my way back to Brooklyn College today and got a nice certificate of appreciation for donating my husband's papers to the Haitian Studies Institute. I'd never been to the H. Studies Assn conference before. It was lovely to see old friends and meet researchers who remember my husband from his community work or his archivist work at the #Schomburg.
