Preparing the fish

I took this shot late in the evening in the harbor of Aden, Yemen. It was late, but these guys were still working on the latest catch in order to sell it early the next morning. This man was shouting something - I did not understand what.

Yemen is a fascinating country in every aspect. I met some amazing people.

Empty Window

Almost forgot about #fensterfreitag / #windowfriday. But there is this little shot from the Darss on the Baltic Sea, that I took some years ago with my Bessa R3M on film.
There is no irony in it; it has a sentimental note rather. The claim for peace is not exactly poignant. But at least it is there.

Been busy all day moving my little studio back to the room where it was before. Quite a lot of work. So I almost forgot it is #fensterfreitag or #windowfriday resp..

Back in the days this was on my way to work in #Bielefeld (old town - although it is not that old for the most part, due to some explosives dropped ~80 years ago). Anyway, I like layers.
