  1. Look I'm boycotting Eurovision this year for obvious reasons but surely there's a joke in there that goes Will Delta Goodrem win? And the punchline is she was Born to Try #eurovision #SBSEurovision #DeltaGoodrem

  2. Once again, they didn’t have the EBU reps actually talk. Were they trying to avoid having to deal with the boos as they started to present the vote? #SBSEurovision

  3. Even when it’s not in English, and even when they’re not technically Swedes (KAJ are technically Finnish), the Swedish Eurovision entries always seem to click really well with Aussies. #SBSEurovision

  4. Denmark’s coat at the start looked like it was made out of old hair scrunchies and those puffy things for exfoliating for the shower. #SBSEurovision

  5. This entry from Switzerland is… fine, I guess? It’s not horrible, but it’s not amazing either. Im just neutral about it. #SBSEurovision

  6. And people said Australia’s entry was too sexual. At least we had the decency to hide our jokes about cum with the fig leaf of a milkshake. #SBSEurovision

  7. Honestly, I preferred Ireland’s take on this kind of general aesthetic last year. #SBSEurovision

  8. I always do a bit of a double take when our commentator uses the term “twink” to describe someone. Not least because the first time I heard that word was in a completely different context and meaning (fully kitted out lv 19 players in WoW battlegrounds) to this gay slang term. ^^;; #SBSEurovision

  9. Okay, reading that last post back, I’ve clearly reached the point in my Eurovision drinking games where my posts are coming out a bit confused. ^^;; #SBSEurovision

  10. Are we really sure this lot aren’t Jedward in Mission Impossible style masks? We saw Eurovision being interviewed at Semi Final 2, so we know they’re there. #SBSEurovision

  11. Surprisingly few acts making use of the wind machine this year, now that I think of it. #SBSEurovision

  12. If this song ends up on the left side of the points table, you too will be asking “What the hell just happened?” #SBSEurovision

  13. Comparing all of these songs to Australia’s entry, and I can’t help thinking that our minimalist staging contributed towards us failig to qualify. We really needed the ice cream truck. #SBSEurovision

  14. Carmen Sandiego stealing the show right now. Always nice when a Big 5 member sends a song that would’ve qualified even if they didn’t get the spot automatically. #SBSEurovision

  15. What happened to the #SBSEurovision subtitles at the start of this song?. We’re they just mumbling too much for the translators to understand them?

  16. Anyone else getting Disney villainesses vibes from this song? The singer’s armoured claw nails aren’t helping things. #SBSEurovision

  17. Are we sure it was an express macchiato in that cup, and not something a bit harder? #SBSEurovision

  18. Was it just me, or was that line calling out the kinds of guys who have lots of anime waifs figures? #SBSEurovision

  19. Clearly the reason they were so confident that nothing could burn them now was because they spent plenty of time working out all the issues with the stage pyrotechnics over the past few months. #SBSEurovision

  20. Looking forward to seeing the breakdown of votes from the semi-finals once they release them. Putting aside our own Aussie entry, there were several acts I thought deserved to get through over some of those that actually made it. The bookmakers were totally off as well. #SBSEurovision

  21. Blatantly not letting the guy from the EBU talk so that the audience can’t boo him again like they did last year. #SBSEurovision

  22. Dripping white cheese, and then she lost her bread. They knew exactly what they were doing there. #SBSEurovision

  23. Not having Daði & Gagnamagnið for this intermission act, considering they technically missed both 2020 and 2021 due to COVID (having to use a rehearsal performance for 2021 because of a positive test), was very disappointing. #SBSEurovision

  24. I thought it was the piano that was supposed to be on fire, not the pianist? #SBSEurovision

  25. Was that the most suggestive Eastern European entry since those Polish butter churners? #SBSEurovision

  26. ….correction, Jedward’s cousins from Iceland in Semi Final 1. Clearly got my wires crossed with Finland coming up next in the running order. ^^;; #SBSEurovision

  27. Now why aren’t they asking Jedward what they thought about their cousins from Finland from Semi Final 1? #SBSEurovision

  28. With how much this guy seems to change jobs, after Eurovision he’ll soon become the artist formerly known as Princ. #SBSEurovision

  29. Speaking of Eurovision drinking games…. It’s not violin, but that is a string instrument played with a bow, so… drink? #SBSEurovision

  30. How do these songs arrange for this lights in the audience like twinkling stars effect? We saw a song do this in Semi Final 1 as well. Didn’t seem like a visual add for TV, but rather like people in the audience were told to hold up their phones to provide the lights. #SBSEurovision
