Patrick Radden Keefe's book has recently attracted attention following the FX/Disney+ TV drama adaptation.

I haven't seen the series, but I would recommend the book. Keefe not only unravels the mystery of the killing of Jean McConville, but also provides a wealth of insights into the lives of those young Northern Irish who joined the Provisional IRA in the early days of the Troubles. I was particularly impressed by the book's attention to the feelings of "dissident republicans" following the Good Friday Agreement; I don't care for their politics, but Keefe succeed in making them intelligible and at times even sympathetic figures.

I know that "Say Nothing" has been a best seller in the USA, but I would be curious to know how much attention it has received in England.
