Eight years ago today I was reporting live from #CapitolHill to #VoiceofAmerica’s International audiences. Today, as I watch the super #snowstorm hit the DMV region, I reflect on how it’s been almost a year since my (and most of my colleagues’) right to report the news accurately and fairly (in line with #VOA’s mission) has been “frozen.” My commitment to a #FreePress and #OathofOffice however, remains as strong as ever. 👉 https://savevoa.com/contact.html #savevoa

Kari Lake silenced all VOA broadcasts last March and recently brought back a token amount of people & programming in a few of the 48 languages, defying a federal judge’s order for restoration. And replacing balanced reporting with propaganda violates the Charter. (Public Law 94-350) #SaveVOA
