I can't confirm that, but certainly the BBC (packed with Tory political appointees at every level) routinely buries any bad news for Trump.
The #BBCNews is no diff to other MSM, but as a publicly funded news agency we should expect much, much better.
Starmer needs to replace all the Tory appointees - and should have started last year.

Meanwhile, something worthwhile - the BBC - is going to have to make HUGE annual savings to survive and not be destroyed by short-sighted profiteers who don't value its independence.
The Times are reporting it as "the rich will pay more" for the license (which seems fair) but the BBC article only talks about making it "more affordable to people on lower incomes". Almost as if The Times wants to rile up its readers 🧐
