Belfast City Council, led by Green Party Councillor Áine Groogan of Botanic, has passed a motion to oppose the Dalradian gold mine, demand full transparency in the inquiry, and protect Belfast’s drinking water. The Greens are making it clear: we will not accept threats to our water. We pay credit to campaign groups like Save Our Sperrins who are fighting this through the public inquiry & demand that accessibility & transparency concerns are rectified with immediate effect.
