And my #SavedByTheBell watch has concluded.
I watched the pilot, the Miss Bliss episodes, proper episodes, The College Years, and both movies.
The twists and turns of the style, location, and characters was interesting. The best years to watch are season 1 and 2 of the proper series but Miss Bliss has its own charm.
The movies are bad and depart significantly in tone and style from the TV series.
Lastly, The College Years feel more like a 90s sitcom than the original teen comedy.

In the final (aired) episode of #SavedByTheBell, Zack states that he’s going to Yale.
Yeah, he barely graduates and then goes to Yale. I suppose that tracks with money and influence being key to college admission.

The Tori episodes of #SavedByTheBell seem to be made to just be part of senior year.
The graduation episode had Kelly and Jessie in it. There is no explanation for why Kelly and Jessie aren’t in the Tori episodes or vice versa.
It’s like the series ended but then the producers created filler episodes to sprinkle into the Season 4 airing schedule. It’s very strange. I suspect a lot of low budget TV was done in similar ways because there wasn’t meant to be ongoing serial story.
