Trump has renewed pressure for the Senate to pass the #SAVEAct, which requires #ProofOfCitizenship to vote. For the 69 million women who have changed their last name this would create a barrier to voting.

This entire SAVE con is a Poll Tax. Poll Taxes were abolished by the 24th amendment.

However, in order to be able to vote if the SAVE act passes, you will need to spend hundreds of dollars and possibly months of time.

The Republicans are working to instate an illegal election policy change, in the same year as an election, as close to the election as possible. The change targets voters who don’t vote for Trump. Yes it will be overturned eventually by the Supremes, but not in time for 2026 elections

Nobody knows better than #Republicans in Congress what the Republican plans are to steal the election.

If they had a viable plan, you would not be seeing dozens of Republicans quitting ahead of the elections. These people are all fascists; it's not a moral decision. It's that they can't win. @Barbramon1 @Beachbum @VeroniqueB99 The argument I’ve seen circulating on #FoxNews and elsewhere is “I had to show my birth certificate and piece of mail to get a real ID.” Indeed, I had to do exactly that when I moved to #Tennessee last year. It’s interesting to me that the other part of that, that the name on your birth certificate has to match your current name, is either not understood or is deliberately not made plain. I’m still optimistic that the #SaveAct won’t pass, though I know #Trump is all in for it. Guess we’ll see if a spine somehow exists in all of the mess of the GOP.

Oh, it appears Lindsey Graham (aka. Lady G) will be point man on the SAVE Act.
