Explaining skeletal aggregations is not easy, especially when stating gregariousness. Why should members of a social group die in a one-off incident? Here is an outdated sketch drawn for the research team. Later, they opted for lightning strike, which is physically more appropriate than the monster wave, but still admitting a perplexing question.

We’ve Found #Sauropod Stomach Contents For The First Time, Revealing They Had Terrible Manners
#Sauropods as a group span around 130 million years of time, but this one came from the Winton Formation of Queensland in #Australia, home to animals that lived during the mid-Cretaceous. It appears that they were walking around with “gastric furnaces” that could break down food thanks to #fermentation and #microbes in the gut – no chewing required.

one of the various reasons #AzhdarchidApril couldn't be completed- I had to do this- environmental reconstruction of the tendaguru beds, species depicted include giraffatitan brancai, dicraeosaurus hansemanni, kentrosaurus aethiopicus, dysaltosaurus lettowvorbecki, and my favorites, Indeterminate rhamphorynchoid and indeterminate dsungaripterid.

Ardetosaurus viator , a new diplodocine sauropod!
https://palaeo-electronica.org/content/2024/5327-new-diplodocine-sauropodinterview with the lead author:
https://chasmosaurs.com/2022/02/04/podcast-show-notes-episode-14/forgot to say: there are two interviews in the linked podcast; the interview with Tom van der Linden, lead author of the Ardetosaurus paper, comes first, in the News segment, about 1 minute in. The interview with Greer Strothers is later, and has no connection.

sauropod factoid: among english letters, U and W are tied for the fewest sauropods beginning with the letter: only Uberabatitan and Udelartitan begin with U (sadly I must set aside both Ultrasaurus and Ultrasauros), and only Wintonotitan and Wamweracaudia begin with W. Xenoposeidon, Xingjangtitan, and Xianshanosaurus begin with X, and all other english letters have at least 4 genera. A sauropod themed alphabet book would have plenty of choices.
