Oh ! un chaton !
Bonjour,
Belle balade hier après-midi au bord du lac pour une première visite de l'année à MON arbre mais aussi à la rencontre de crosses dont j'en ai "pris" plein, sans dommage, ainsi que des chatons et même un héron cendré.

A lovely walk yesterday afternoon by the lake – my first visit of the year to *my* tree, but also to see some fern fronds as well as some catkins and even a grey heron.

Z jednej strony troszkę mi w serduszku smutno bo od kilku tygodni z Joanną Sosnowską zbierałyśmy materiał o Columbus i Kruszewskim i o tym co wyrabiają z Saule... a po wywiadzie Olgi Malinkiewicz w Kanale Zero trochę to jak musztarda po obiedzie.
Z drugiej tam wyszło strony wspaniale samozaoranie Dawida Zielińskiego a więc jest szansa, że więcej osób jednak zechce pogadać o tym jak dc24 działa.

Winter Solstice is associated with #Ragana (Latvian sp) in #Baltic tradition - Indo-European gods + Christianity have reduced this nature deity to a hag #witch (often in a negative way, not the modern reclaimed use of the word!) of wild places and dubious ways- I'll be exploring ideas restoring her primal attributes, and will be thinking of her essence as a symbol of natural forces/cycles this Solstice day! eg- She may represent natural darkness, and essential balance to the light of #Saule /Sun

At Winter #Solstice, we celebrate the beginning of the return of #Saule / #Sun but should take some time to reflect on and appreciate the darkness of this season of long nights. #Darkness is often considered synonymous with negativity,/evil, but it shouldn't be so- darkness = #rest, the spark of #Life, #gestation happens in darkness, #blood and #sap flow in darkness.
