  2. The SatNOGS Network 📡 is tracking AMSAT-EA's -SA 🛰️ from the rideshare.
An updated TLE set was generated by the Community, and you can find more details at: community.libre.space/t/transp

  4. Weekend projects. Setting up a small 76cm dish for easier portable use (than my 1.2m behemoth). Alignment on a Ku band geostationary satellite beacon (Galaxy 18), and now working on a printed bracket for the W1GHZ 10/24 GHz feed horn.

  8. 📌For years, the SatNOGS Network📡 has been tracking -1, as the was making its journey through space. EIRSAT-1 has now re-entered, and the last reception from the Network was by station 342 - EA5WA Pobla Llarga in Spain.
Great job, EIRSAT-1 team! 🎉🎉Congratulations on your efforts!🛰️🛰️
We're thrilled to have been part of this mission!

  9. Just scheduling the final passes of #NOAA19 and #NOAA15 on my #satnogs ground station. After over 15 years and 20 years respectively in orbit their APT downlinks are being switched off over the next few days.

  10. Oooh, looks like my satellite station is still operational, need to turn that back on for people.

  11. 📌 Find us at Czechia. This weekend in Brno, SatNOGS and Libre Space Foundation core contributors will be holding hands-on workshops and an presentation. Stay tuned for more information, and reach out if you want to meet with the team!

  14. Slow scan TV (SSTV) images from the International Space Station (ISS), transmitted at 5W, captured by my UHF satellite ground station overnight. network.satnogs.org/stations/1 #SatNOGS #ISS #Fram2ham #sstv #ariss_sstv

  15. Libre Space Foundation is a non-profit, community-driven effort to create FOSS space technologies. Starting with SatNOGS - a global network of DIY satellite ground stations - projects include creating and deploying the world's first FOSS satellite, develop machine learning for satellites, and more. I especially like the idea of installing SatNOGS on a Raspberry Pi (or perhaps an old laptop?) to create your very own ground station at home!

  16. The Dwingeloo @radiotelescoop just observed the satellite ASRTU-1 as a #SatNOGS ground station (while tracking the satellite). View the results at network.satnogs.org/observatio.

  17. Solar shed distribution panel. Currently just powering a laptop tracking ham radio satellites. #electronics #satnogs

  18. The Dwingeloo @radiotelescoop just observed the satellite URESAT-1 as a #SatNOGS ground station (while tracking the satellite). View the results at network.satnogs.org/observatio.

  24. hosted a workshop building antenna/groundstation last week during #fab24. After many hours of debugging the groundstation at #Fablab Puebla/Idit is now live on #satnogs (Open Source global network of satellite ground-stations) and the first results are visible.

  25. I am looking for standards or API specifications for the interface between a #satellite 's payload and the OBC, a bit like #CCSDS
Spacecraft Onboard Interface Services. Do you have any pointer? Maybe people from #satnogs or #LibreSpaceFoundation or #cubesat ?

  26. I haven't decoded this, a downlink from the INS-2TD satellite, but I am still thrilled you can capture beeps and boops from #space. #satellite #hamradio #satNOGS #downlink #fsk

  27. Woohoo! Nice looking NOAA-19 downlink on my #SatNogs station the other day. Now, why did this one come out so well, when they usually do not? 🤔 #satellite #downlink #noaa #hamradio

  28. First #SatNOGS attempt to see if you can catch the Russian #ORLAN space suits in action, looks like this was too early compared to their space walk. Still have some passes scheduled for acquisition. #hamradio #space #iss

  29. Probably someone believed the satellite's transmission wasn't sonatic enough and transmitted some music close to it's frequency.

  30. News boards, now need time to install on them. One , one .

One would be planned to run a @gitlab runner once they support RiscV, the other and .

  31. After almost 3 years of non-stop outdoor installation my LaNA mounted on my Stanisłav Palo UHF turnstile antenna seem to have died...
With all my stations now out of order, time for some serious maintenance.

  32. #GettingCloser on the #SatNOGS RF ground station for #satellites .

The Green Heron RT-21 Az/El rotator controller is different from many other rotators in that it has a separate USB port for Az and El. In other words, you plug in to the rotator with two USB cables for the Raspbery Pi.

Bits of it are in #hamlib , but I think it is only for other models.

  33. Ha, forgot I had a number of Cushcraft 406Mhz omni gain antennas in the backyard, so putting up a #Sondehub station for #wx #weather #balloon reception was simple (threw it onto the same machine I am running #SatNOGS on... will see how that goes!). #hamradio

  34. About 00012, Cees Bassa, author of stvid software and much more, writes in Matrix:

Nice! That may well be the oldest object that my software has detected!

This one is too low inclination to be visible from my location, so my oldest is Explorer 7 [00022/59009A].

In the past I've tried to observe Vanguard 1 [00005/58002B] which is the oldest object still in orbit, but it's always been too faint
