    YORK FACTORY EXPRESS JOURNAL, 1827:
    "Weather as yesterday. Hoisted sail about 4 am with a moderate breeze and continued sailing till about 3 o'clock when wind shifts ahead. Encamped on Island at 7 pm.
    "31st. Fine weather. Started at half past 4 am. Passed the Battle River #Battleford this morning. In the evening hoisted sail with a fair wind which scarcely favours us when we are driven ashore by a perfect storm of wind about 6 o'clock. Encamped. #Canada #History #Sasktchewan #NorthBattleford
