Dass die #OAZ kein eigenes Wissenschafts-/Medizinressort hat, ist schon traurig genug, wichtige Wissenschaft und Medizin gäbs genug im Osten. Dass die aber als einen der ganz wenigen Artikel aus der Medizin ausgerechnet so einen #Corona-Text (in dem Fall gehts um den PCR-Test) aus der Berliner Zeitung bringen, lässt überhaupt nichts Gutes ahnen. It's been awhile but I thought that #COVID19 is a mutation of an existing #SARSCOV virus that some scientists in #China were experimenting with in a lab, and it somehow escaped. I don't know if the bat came into play with how it spread but it was one animal they ran the experiments on. -

In den letzten Monaten habe ich immer wieder, abseits von Rechten Schwurblern, von versch. Journalisten und Politikern gehört, das es ein Fehler war am Anfang der Pandemie die Schulen/Kindergärten zu schliessen. Vielleicht war's das, aber wenn dann aus anderen Gründen als virologischen oder gesundheitlichen im Zusammenhang mit der Infektion.

Ich hab #Geduld für #Arbeitskampf und ich unterstütze die Forderungen der #GDL.
Kein Verständnis hab ich dafür, durch einen #Streik bei strengem #Frost während einer laufenden Mehrfach- #Infektionswelle Menschen in überfüllte Busse, Trams und U-Bahnen zu zwingen.

I keep hearing that airlines have excellent filtration but that's CLEARLY not the case, or at least not on Jetstar.
I haven't removed my mask to drink or eat anything even though I would really like to. There were multiple people with wet coughs on the flight and and no one masking. It's so much worse than last year. #CovidIsNotOver #SARSCoV

had an alarming conversation w a #rehabilitation #hospital #nurse today
while standing outside isolation rooms for #covid #patients, she informed me that "it's good all of 'em "finally caught it, so they can have natural antibodies"
this #HealthCareWorker then shared that her 90yo #mother caught #SARSCOV in #rehab, & she caught it fr her #mom while visiting. so, she "feels good having gotten it out of the way"
now i hate that nurse & think she's an imbecile, as are all #HCW who agree w her
