I’ve added a couple of pages to my main SARS-CoV-2 variant analysis dataviz, digging into the data for International Travellers.
The first page shows the Lineage L2 trends across all the International Traveller samples. This is probably a more randomised sample than the "Global" aggregate of all samples submitted to GISAID, as those are dominated by the US and Canada
These samples are mainly collected from arrivals into the US and Japan, and while the data is unstructured, they often record the country of origin. This can give some insight into under-sampled countries.

Here's the latest SARS-CoV-2 variant picture for India, revealing a novel environment.
The new XFP recombinant was dominant in late April, but seems to have faded lately under challenges from XFG.* and a late FLiRT sub-variant.

Where's the #evidence for all the claims in this? I'm not convinced they are all accurate. There's no mention of #variants, that #COVID #vaccine loses #efficacy or that most #UK people weren't entitled to #boosters. #Researchers disagree over how bad it is to be #reinfected. Erring on the side of caution would seem wise.

Take a look at the posts I did on the #toxoplasmosis hypothesis that being infected with #SARS_COV_2 makes people more willing to facilitate spread of the virus. It may seem crazy but we are witnessing a mass delusion like I never imagined I’d see.

2/ There are as many generations of #SARS_COV_2 in one month as there have been of humans since the fall of the Roman Empire. It’s been mutating like crazy for 3+ years, during which time we have helped its evolution along with various forms of selection.
A drug that works by CAUSING the #virus to mutate, which even I as a non-doctor and non-expert thought was a bad idea two years ago.
Rapid tests that reward it for hiding positive results until it’s too late.

Despite the mass delusion that has taken over all of society now, with the encouragement of business and political interests, you really don’t want to inhale this thing if you can help it.

Twelve hundred days ago or so, the realization hit me that this new #SARS_COV_2 #virus seemed to be traveling through the air. I quit being indoors around people outside my household without wearing a P100 respirator—the one I’d been using for weed spraying each spring.
Today I was at the drugstore and almost started laughing when the cashier walked up to the register, unmasked, with an oxygen cannula in her nose.
What I did not expect about #Covid was the deep, almost universal mass delusion.

[3/3] Het is bewezen dat vitamine D meerdere immuunmodulerende werkingen heeft, dus het lijkt cruciaal om de profylactische suppletie en gelijktijdige toediening van vitamine D te overwegen om een effectief therapeutisch voordeel op te roepen bij de modulatie van het immuunsysteem en de ernst van SARS-CoV- 2 infectie, vooral bij oudere patiënten.
