Minou Andakhs, cittadina baha’i residente a Sari, è stata arrestata la sera del 31 marzo 2026 durante un’irruzione delle forze di sicurezza nella sua abitazione, avvenuta senza mandato. Durante l’arresto le è stato confiscato il telefono e trasferita in un luogo sconosciuto. Al momento non si hanno informazioni sulle accuse né sul luogo di detenzione.

Further to our previous update, the switch from sertraline to paroxetine seems alas to be increasingly making us far too sleepy and unfocussed for it to be of any long-term use. We've just sent an email to the practice manager at our NHS GP surgery to advise.
We've tried the following classes and drugs on prescription:
- SSRI - citalopram, sertraline, paroxetine
- SNRI - venlafaxine
Discounting the older types with typically-worse side effects (tricyclics; tetracyclics; MAOI; SARI; sNRI), our last-ditch options appear to be either vortioxetine (SMS) or St John's wort (herbal remedy) 🤦♀️
Please note that NHS England only has limited prescription options for treating depression and/or anxiety relative to the larger number of total antidepressants.

In a local Tooting #curry house (sadly burned down), the old woman in a #sari who cleaned the floor was a man with a moustache. She/He/They regularly flicked their head scarf over their face and was generally unnoticed. I noticed them and when I asked the staff, who were very friendly, they were a bit embarrassed. I traced the sari wearing uncle to an extreme form of #Bhakti #devotion, which is different to the #Hijra.
Anyone know about this?
I remember staring right at them when the very masculine face was exposed, they shrank into a void of awareness (best way I can describe it)

Auf https://zeitferne.github.io/covidat-tools/export/monitoring.html#SARI-Krankenhaus-Monitoring habe ich jetzt Diagramme zu Nachmeldungen und Hochschätzungen zum SARI-Krankenhaus-Dashboard hinzugefügt.
Insgesamt scheinen die SARI-Aufnahmen noch abzunehmen, doch hochgeschätzt sieht es vor allem in der aktuellsten Woche nach einem Anstieg bei COVID-Aufnahmen aus, im Einklang mit dem Abwassermonitoring (Schätzung ist noch mit viel Unsicherheit behaftet, da es ja erst einen Aktualisierungszyklus gab)

Die Sache mit dem neuen #Dashboard. Ich will ja nicht so viel los drüber nachdenken oder dazu sagen. Es tut mir weh. Aber ich schaffe es grad nicht. Wenigstens das eine muss ich loswerden:
"Das neue Dashboard ist für uns eine Art Frühwarnsystem"
"[...] erwartet [...] durch das neue System eine frühzeitige Warnung vor allfälligen Überlastungen der Spitäler."Aha. Wer wird gewarnt, und was machen die dann? Wodurch wird die "allfällige #Überlastung" dann noch verhindert? Oder kann vielleicht durch die Warnung rechtzeitig ein Ablenkungsthema an die Öffentlichkeit gebracht werden? 🤦
Der Kernpunkt bei der Erstellung von Dashboards ist immer(!) die Frage, was mensch mit den Infos anfangen kann. Welche Entscheidungen können mit dem Dashboard getroffen werden?
Daten müssen regelmäßig zeitnah erhoben, bereinigt und zusammen geführt werden. Kennzahlen müssen berechnet und übersichtlich (und nicht irreführend) dargestellt werden. Das kann erstaunlich teuer sein. Wir könnten wahrscheinlich auch ohne dieses Dashboard davon ablenken, dass Leute krank sind.

So I've even managed to migrate over to hcommons.social from lingo.lol. It was a lovely instance, but I quickly became aware that I'm probably not a true philologist (though I might dabble), I'm indeed a #LitStudies scholar.
So here is my re-introduction. I am a Lecturer (=Asst.Prof in North America) in #Hindi at #ANU (The Australian National University). I also serve as the Deputy-Director of #SARI (the South Asia Research Institute).
I work on #poetry #music #gender & #memory in the premodern regional courts of Eastern #SouthAsia in #Hindi-Urdu #Maithili #Bengali #Sanskrit and #Apabhramsha.
I am increasingly working on community-oriented practices of #digitalhumanities while working with manuscripts. I do that stuff over on ANUBhasha (www.anubhasha.org) that I co-run.
I'm also a passionate Urbanist who is interested in the structures (both physical and social) that make cities the best place to live.
