I haven't seen this offending #DA "flag burning" ad, but if they really set a South African flag alight, then I have to agree: there's no justification or excuse for that. It's probably one of the most despicable things you can do, IMO. :(

South Africa's ICJ case against Israel, for violation of the genocide convention, is a historic opportunity to expose the fanatically violent character of the Israeli state and heap pressure on their western backers. That it's those who defeated apartheid bringing this case makes it all the more credible, even if the ANC of today aren't as politically iconic as the freedom fighters of that period.
