Bus services in and around Weston-super-Mare are being improved this autumn by First Bus to enhance clarity, connectivity, and coverage. From 31st August 2025, a simplified network will see the 7B and 7H services replaced by an extended X5, offering clearer cross-town connections and restoring Saturday buses for Bleadon Hill. The U2 route will be extended to Weston-super-Mare, linking south Weston directly with Bristol, via Banwell, #Sandford and Churchill. It will run hourly, Monday to Saturday. The Sunday U2 service is withdrawn, but Stagecoach’s Falcon coach will continue to run. X7 will run via Long Ashton on all journeys. Seasonal reductions, renumbered school routes, and more Weston College services are also planned. These changes, developed with North Somerset Council and the #University of #Bristol, aim to create a more user-friendly and sustainable network. Passengers should check updated timetables before travelling.
