Georgian Dream is now openly jailing protesters over Facebook posts. Ia Melitauri got 4 days. Police claim she swore at officers during protests but have no video evidence. Days earlier they questioned another woman about Ia’s post—then arrested Ia too. The judge read her posts aloud in court.

For the 342nd consecutive day, Rustaveli Avenue is blocked in Georgia.

Most protesters standing on the road face up to 15 days of administrative detention. Others face up to two years in prison for repeated “offenses.”

For decades older generation warned youth against walking at night at the streets, especially alone.

People now can be sent to jail for fact of peaceful protest, or just because they crossed a street nearby.

The occupation administration "Georgian Dream" decided not to hurry to ban all parties right away, and ban only parties that they see as a party able to pass electoral threshold and cause real electoral competition.
This means GD decided to maintain "electoral dictatorship" model of governance.
