Miss Watson's 2nd grade class 1971.
I remember most of these kids' names, but not all. Can you find me? My niece was PTA secretary when this school closed a few years back and she retrieved dozens of binders showing class photos for decades.I'm scanning a whole bunch of slides showing the demise and demolition of Playland (SF's Amusement Park at Ocean Beach) from 1972. One of my only memories of it is a birthday trip to the zoo with one of the kids shown here. No idea how we ended up at Playland. Only the Fun House was open but it was the end of the day and my mother wouldn't let us go in as she was worried that we would miss the bus for the epic journey back to San Bruno via greyhound. (pre SamTrans and BART!) #sanbruno #history

"TRANSCRIPT OF INTERVIEW OF TEMPORARY FOREMAN--CRANE OPERATOR " has some pretty wild stuff in it. It sounds like there have been a LOT of close calls involving crews working on the wrong track that had not been properly cleared of trains with dispatch.
(To be clear -- this is just one raw interview transcript. There are no official findings yet. So this is all just something some guy said, right now.)
