ありきたりかもしれませんが、選出していただき本当に感謝の気持ちがすごく出てきました。家族もそうですし、FC東京のチームメイト、スタッフも含めて、ファン・サポーターのみなさんの声もそうですが、本当にみなさんの支えがなかったらここまで来ることはできませんでした。もう感謝しか出てきません。本当に「ありがとう」ということを、みなさんに伝えたいです。
FC東京のファン・サポーターのみなさん、FIFAワールドカップ2026™に出場する日本代表のメンバーに選んでいただくことができました。僕が2021シーズンにFC東京に帰ってきて約5年になるのですが、本当にいろいろなことがあるなかで、苦しいこともたくさんありましたが、本当にみなさんの声や応援に支えられて、自分はここまで来ることができました。
この5大会目のワールドカップというのは、非常に大きな夢であり目標でしたが、みなさんがいなければ、このFC東京でなければ、僕は選ばれなかったと思っています。感謝の気持ちで一杯です。本当にありがとうございます。
