Samsung pracuje nad potrójnie składanym smartfonem

Samsung, znany z produkcji składanych smartfonów od 2019 roku, podobno planuje wprowadzenie urządzenia z potrójnym składaniem.

Obecnie w ofercie firmy znajdują się Galaxy Fold (składający się poziomo jak książka) oraz Galaxy Flip (z pionowym składaniem). Nowy model, który według plotek może nosić nazwę Galaxy G Fold, ma stać się osobną linią produktów.

Potrójny składany smartfon ma oferować ekran o przekątnej 10 cali, co przewyższa obecnego flagowca Z Fold6 z ekranem o wielkości 7,6 cala. Choć Huawei już wypuścił podobne urządzenie, Mate XT Ultimate, jego dostępność jest ograniczona, a cena wynosi 2800 dolarów. Samsung może więc być pierwszą firmą oferującą taki produkt na rynkach poza Chinami.

Premiera nowego modelu Samsunga może nastąpić w 2026 roku, co da firmie przewagę nad Apple, które swoje składane iPhone’y planuje najwcześniej na 2026 rok.

I keep finding myself accidentally hitting one of the nav icons along the bottom of android when I'm trying to type on my Samsung Fold. I don't recall having this problem on previous phones, but the keyboard is so damn awkward on this phone. And then I keep not realizing I've hit one of those icons below the keyboard instead of, say, the space bar, and suddenly, boom, I'm taken out of the app. And worse, sometimes that means I lose everything I was typing when I open the app back up (which also seems to be a weird quirk of the Fold). It's making me crazy. Does anyone know if there's a solution to this?

(I'm not even sure what that solution would be... I feel like I still need the icons there, especially when the freaking keyboard refuses to move out of the way because it takes up half the screen on the fold so you can't see anything you need to, and you have to hit the down arrow to make it go away).
