Samsung starts global rollout of One UI 9.0 for the Galaxy S24!

Starting from today, One UI 9.0 based on Android 17 is now available for the Samsung Galaxy S25 phones globally, which brings an improved experience for your Galaxy phone by introducing new features and other enhancements, including the new Galaxy AI features that first landed to the Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra, and Flip8 series.

Starting from today, One UI 9.0 begins distribution to Galaxy S24 globally, with more eligible devices being expected to receive the stable update during the next few weeks. The global release for those who didn’t participate in the beta program will be released soon.

Please note that the update may not have reached your phone and/or your country yet, so you’ll have to be patient while the update reaches your device. For those who are not in the beta program, you may have to wait a little bit.

One UI 9.0 Beta 2 is now live for the Galaxy S24!

The One UI 9.0 beta program started for users with the Galaxy S24 series devices in eligible countries. It provided several features, such as the Masking Tape feature in Samsung Notes and the enhanced quick panel that allows you to take it to the next level in your style with even more customization options.

Starting from today, One UI 9.0 Beta 2 is now available for those who have already joined the beta program with the Galaxy S24 in the above countries mentioned. The second beta version of One UI 9.0 is now available to fix some bugs and to incorporate general improvements across the whole operating system based on user feedback and internal evaluation, according to Tarun Vats.

One UI 9.0 Beta 2 is available under build ZZI4, with the Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 FE, and S24 Ultra devices that joined the beta program receiving it. The following changes were made:

• Bugs that have been fixed
  • Added new Al features
  • Fix for Bixby Vision translation errors
  • Improvement of temporary crash issues in the Contacts app
  • Improved white balance when turning Color optimization On/Off

We encourage you to please report all bugs found to the Beta program community so that Samsung will analyze your feedback and implement fixes and/or improvements based on them.

To update your Galaxy S24 to One UI 9.0 Beta 2, first make sure that you are already in the beta program. Then, follow these steps:

One UI 8.5 Beta 3 is out [Galaxy S24]!

One UI 8.5 has made a significant appearance, with new features and other improvements. We are very thrilled to announce that Samsung has released the third beta version of One UI 8.5 (build ZZDD) that has the following changes:

• Bugs that have been fixed
  • Added new AI features
  • Fixed an issue where the incoming call screen would load slowly or a black screen would appear upon receiving a call
  • Fixed an error in the proximity release behavior during a call
  • Fixed an issue where green lines appeared when recording videos in 4K HDR with certain 3rd party camera apps
  • Improved Bluetooth crashing
  • Improved multi-touch malfunctions after using the Accessibility Zoom feature
• Many other improvements

To join the Beta Program, you must have the latest version of Samsung Members installed. You can get the latest version through either the Galaxy Store or the Play Store. Once done, you should be able to join the program if you have an eligible device. You can see the status of your joining process here.

One UI 8.5 has made a significant appearance, with new features and other improvements. We are very thrilled to announce that Samsung has released the second beta version of One UI 8.5 (build ZZD1) that has the following changes:

• Bugs that have been fixed
  • Improved call recording performance
  • Fixed issue where Bluetooth disconnection notifications appeared
  • Fixed an error where toast pop-ups did not appear when deleting apps from Overlay apps
  • Fixed an error where toast pop-ups appeared on the external monitor when switching between Mirroring and Dex after configuring Screen Zoom Max
• Many other improvements

One UI 8.5 has made a significant appearance, with new features and other improvements. We are very thrilled to announce that Samsung has released the second beta version of One UI 8.5 (build ZZD5) that has the following changes:

• Bugs that have been fixed
  • Support for AirDrop connection with Apple devices
  • Applied 3 new camera filters (Classic Film, Pop Film, Blanc)
  • Improved issue where Bluetooth connection disconnects and reconnects periodically
  • Improved issue where the top part of the notification card was cut off
  • Improved issue where the screen flickers and colors are distorted when changing zoom level during dual recording
  • Improved stuttering issue when entering gallery albums under certain conditions
  • Improved issue where AOD time information was displayed incorrectly in certain situations
  • Improved notification card Ul when the device is rotated
  • Improved issue where the lock screen briefly appeared during an incoming call before transitioning to the call screen
• Many other improvements
