Walmart throws the front doors wide open for Agent based shopping.
"Agent Profiles" and "Walmart Agent Gateway" support customers (anyone with a Walmart account, a Walmart+ membership is not necessary), to shop at Walmart and Sam’s Club via the agent of their choice. Muse, ChatGPT, Gemini and "others" are supported.
Customers will be in control of how purchases get approved with a dedicated profile by either requiring approval for each transaction or by authorizing transactions within a certain spending limit. Agents that don’t comply with the terms will be blocked from accessing Walmart’s site. https://corporate.walmart.com/news/2026/10/Making-It-Possible-for-Agents-to-Shop-on-Behalf-of-Customers #Walmart #Agents #MCP #RetailShopping #SamsClub #AIShopping #Shopping #AgentGateway #AgentProfiles #Privacy #PersonalData #Security #MUSE #ChatGPT #Gemini #AI
