Since I am minimizing my time on Facebook until Meta decides it is worth paying for Canadian news, WeirdMarketplace is becoming a bit of a challenge. I will not post back on Facebook for the time being but as I have been finding the weird things on Facebook, I have a few pictures stored up and that might bring us to the end. Looking for help from the elephant mind (especially if you are from Eastern Europe):
I just got a lovely #samovar from #Ukraine that works on electricity, but even using Google Translate the instructions are pretty brief, and I guess the assumption is ‘everyone knows how to use one’. I turned it on and the water is starting to heat up, maybe it will boil(?), but can I just leave it plugged in to maintain water heat? How about the teapot on top?
