The thing about vinyl is, when you buy records you tend to put them on the turntable and enjoy their subtle tones as soon as possible. Such is also my way, and so I put my new Samara Joy on, and settled back to enjoy.
My neighbours will undoubtedly consider me somewhat more than eccentric, if they didn't before, as the album A Joyful Holiday (2023) is Christmas songs.
I am possibly the first to play Christmas tunes this year, and I have few regrets.

To be fair, DHL isn't always that bad at the job - it often depends on which driver is assigned.
Vinyl ordered in Berlin, packed, handed over, overnight to Btemen, delivered today.
Absolutely ideal.

I found my way into a local vinyl shop yesterday and checked out the Jazz, Blues, and Indie sections. It's only a small shop, but a reasonable collection of records with no specialisation.
I was looking for Samara Joy, but there were none of her four albums there. The owner had also never heard of her, and made no move to check whether anything could be ordered.
I tried local, but ordered all four online - a smaller online handler.
