We've had a "No Soliciting" sign on our door since we bought this house...and every year we get more and more sales dicks at our door hocking shit. At this point I just figure that in 2024, mfs have no idea what "soliciting" means so they just don't even process it.

#Salesmen take advantage of two things: stupidity and distraction. When I'm confronted with a salesmen, I'm neither. I'm not stupid, and my awareness is heightened, so I'm paying attention to what's going on. So, the tactics not only don't work, but they backfire, and the salesman turns me off. Still, when it comes to playing the odds, their tactics make sense. Most people are dumb, not paying attention, or both.
