DCC: Sailors on a Starless Sea, Part 2

Will a hodgepodge collection of level 0 villagers be able to defeat an avatar of the Chaos Lord?

DCC: Sailors on a Starless Sea, Part 1

I finally had my chance to run a Dungeon Crawl Classics module! I learned a lot about DCC, and so did the players...

Preparing for DCC — Dungeon Crawl Classics

In two weeks, most of the villagers of Farlenkeep will be dead... unless they can find their courage and band together to take on an ancient evil.

I made a thing! This is a super quick character generator for Level 0 funnels (continuing my thinking about running #SailorsOnTheStarlessSea.)

Not long for this world
Level 0 characters ready for an ill-fated expedition into the dark…

It includes some very simple rules, which are just the core of my homebrew system, but you could use these characters in any old school system.

I finally got around to reading #SailorsOnTheStarlessSea and I am entertaining the idea of running it as a funnel, as written. Not with DCC, but probably my own lightweight heartbreaker.

I'm trying to get my head around what the combat with beastmen would be like. Large numbers of NPCs I'm used to, but as written we're expecting a dozen PCs as well. Unless you're just expecting each player to say "I hit it my axe" umpteen times it feels like it would take ages.

Ich leite am Sonntag auf der #sonnencon das Trichter-Abenteuer #SailorsOnTheStarlessSea für #dcc. Es ist das erste Mal, dass ich auf einer Con etwas leite. Ich hoffe alles klappt 🤞.
