The https://saillink.co.uk voyage from Boulogne to Dover was fantastic.
Decent northerly breeze made for unusual summer conditions, but the skipper knows how to make best balance between progress and comfort.
Started in grey cloud but blue skies by mid channel. Fun with freighters and a chance to be out on deck, even sit between the bows for anyone tempted. -

Am now sampling the Boulogne speciality, Welshs, in a brasserie.
Welshs is Welsh rarebit, kind of. They bring Worcester sauce to your table. Needs way more mustard though, imho.
