I just played Azul for the first time and I really like it. The rules are straightforward and it's quick to setup and pack up. It reminds me a lot of Sagrada.

After working as an art school dean in Italy through the mid century she set her heart on the deserts of the American Southwest. By working with famed architect Antoine Predock to create artist residences and a hundful of Domican nuns to handmake thousands of adobe bricks to build Our Lady of Guadalupe chapel, a vibrant art school campus emerged. The location, now called Patio Escondido is a registered historic site. Filled with community, intention and care, the spirit of Sagrada Art Studio lives on. Sagrada Familia, Barcelona, Spain.
꽤 오래 전에 찍은 사진. 바르셀로나 도시는 별로였지만 가우디 작품들만으로도 다시 방문할 의향이 있다. 요즘 사그라다 파밀리아 사진들을 다시 현상해보고 있는데, 솔직히 기대하지 않았던 카메라지만 피사체가 중요하지 카메라가 중요한 게 아니란 점을 다시 배운다. 내 현상 기술의 문제였지.
역광은 잘 다루면 정말 예쁘다. 플레어 나오기 직전에 잘 끊은 사진. 마음에 든다.

Das war ein netter #Brettspiele Abend. Nach mehr als vier Jahren wieder #Sagrada, zum ersten Mal mit Tochter. Dann weiter zu dritt #QuacksalberVonQuedlinburg und #Cabanga. Zwischendurch ist die Tochter einem plötzlichen Drang gefolgt und hat Zimtschnecken gebacken.
Als Absacker dann nur noch zu zweit #Fluxx, erstmals in der Star Trek TNG Version.Kann man alles gut machen, gerne öfter. 😎

#Solotober Day 18: #Sagrada!
Another busy day, another digital game! The Sagrada app is excellent for quick plays, and Sagrada itself has proven pretty challenging to get a high score at, especially in solo mode. This “-28” that I got was my best out of 3 games unfortunately, haha.

Playing more #Sagrada and #Wingspan and, as far as "boardgames as PC games" go, I find them FAR more fun/interesting than Magic the Gathering.
Not that the implementation is superior. But that the gameplay is superior. The mechanics are superior. The balance is superior. Even playing against the AI, it's more interesting and rewarding.
And it's because there's strategy but there's no "ugh, I can't come back from this". It's not "six month hyper-optimisation smashes all".

Tried out #Sagrada and enjoyed it a lot. Deceptively simple dice placing and pattern making with a fun theme.

Bought #Codenames and #Sagrada yesterday.
We played Codenames with friends, and everyone loved it. Really fun game, and we played like 10 times in a row.
Today, me and my wife played Sagrada, and we both enjoyed it.

Heutiger #brettspiele-Abend mit der Lieblingsnachbarin.
- #fluegelschlag geht einfach immer. Vom Look über den Mechanismus und das Material passt da alles für mich.
- #sagrada hat einfach die schönen Würfel, die die Nachbarin so mag
- #akropolis macht beim zweiten Mal mehr Spaß, wenn man auf die richtigen Sachen achtet

We enjoyed #Orichalcum at #AireCon this morning, though I don’t think I’d ever have managed to recall the name of it I hadn’t noticed it was a Bruno Cathala design so I had something to search on. Bags of components, nice ones, rules and gameplay were pretty straightforward but reasonably strategic. Suspect it’d probably be better at 3 or 4 players though.
And we rounded off a weekend of #BoardGames with a couple of rounds of #Sagrada but I forgot to take a pic of the lovely dice windows.
