@anton es ist manchmal etwas umstritten, aber ich finde es wichtig, #SafetyTools anzubieten, auch wenn bisher von meinen Mitspielenden niemand Bedarf daran hatte (für mich als Minimum #XCard und #LinesAndVeils, je nach Gruppe als offene Nachfrage oder auch mit @Optional's Tool https://optional.games/lav/ ).
Wenn die Runde länger angelegt ist, würde ich auch versuchen, sowas wie einen gemeinsamen Vorstellungsraum und "Weltstil" zum Setting zu schaffen bzw. zu vermitteln.

Are there any good sources for a list of subjects when discussing a Lines & Veils document?
I’m looking to collect the information anonymously for each player and then collate them into one document to present to the table.
Thinking google forms makes sense for this approach.

@zozo the only good thing I can glean from this is that people who say #safetytools in gaming shouldn't be used or are useless, have now self identified so that other people can happily avoid them.

More like 5 years back for me. I even went to the trouble of making a blog post about it.My contention at the time was that, for me, any kind of thing that halts a game and makes me stand out is something I would have been more uncomfortable invoking (especially when I was younger).
The post was an attempt to present some tools in a more conversational manner young me would have felt more comfortable making use of.

@satsuma @AetherEgo Initial consent is fine, but consent is a continuous decision as well. #Safetytools let a player say "Let's wait a minute, this isn't what I expected" in a way that's built into the experience. They can then take a beat, check with the table, and everyone decides how to proceed. As I've said before, of you don't want to use them at your table, fine. But that doesn't make them useless or evil or unnecessary. Everyone can and should run their table the way they want.

For einigen Tagen habe ich eine Person als Spieler am Tisch Hart getriggert. Alles gut gelaufen, die Person ist für einige Minuten ausgestiegen hat sich beruhigt und ist wieder dazu gekommen. Habe gestern mich Rückversichert das es der richtige Umgang war, war es.
#SafetyTools sind wichtig, nutzt sie! Nicht weil diese alles abdecken sondern weil sie Aussagen: wir wollen einen sicheren Raum fürs Spielen, wenn was nicht OK ist, Achten wir auf einander! #PnPDE

Der neue und schon in einer kostenlosen Version benutzbare „nicht-VTT" Alchemy hat von Anfang an #SafetyTools eingebaut - und zwar in einer Weise, die ich gut erklärt und einfach zu handhaben finde (offensichtlich auch mit der Möglichkeit, Lines und Veils als Spielende anonym angeben zu können). Ich kann noch nicht sehr viel über das restliche Produkt sagen, aber das macht doch einen guten Eindruck. https://alchemyrpg.com

Ich habe die App in einer Con-Runde getestet. Sie hält tatsächlich genau das, was ich mir von ihr versprochen habe.

Um so etwas zu vermeiden gibt es bestimmte #SafetyTools bzw. #SafetyRules.
Ein Beliebtes Tool sind Handkarten, die ihr wortlos heben könnt, wenn euch eine Situation unangenehm wird. So kann die Spielleitung darauf reagieren.
Außerdem könnt ihr vor jeder Runde Themen festlegen, die nicht vorkommen sollen. Entweder in der Gruppe, anonym mit Zetteln oder in 4-Augen Gesprächen mit der Spielleitung.
Auch kann die Spielleitung, wenn sie sich bei einer Szene nicht sicher ist, immer das Abenteuer brechen und off Topic etwas ankündigen.Das sind nur einige Vorschläge.
Das wichtigste Safety Tool seid ihr und eure Gruppe. Redet im Vorfeld miteinander und legt euch eure Regeln fest. Es ist euer Abenteuer.

In meinem Hobby-Projekt, der Pen&PaperBox gibt es jetzt Unterstützung für #SafetyTools für eure Online-Rollenspiel-Runden.
In den Profilen können die eigenen Lines und Veils angegeben werden, Sessions können mit Inhaltswarnungen versehen werden und beim Spielen im Browser könnt ihr eine X-Karte zeigen.
