It’s been two years. I still think of you every single day. I still sing to you, talk to you, and am happysad when Sammy brings me one of your favorite toys, crying to announce himself with the toy in his mouth (just like you did). Grandma talks to you and Walt at the tree where we buried a bit of each of you. Jessie still dreams of you. You are missed.

Hard to believe she’s almost 9. She came to my friend Jessie (of #SadieTheCat and #MaggieTheDog) as a 3 week old foster on 8/10/2014 and I got to babysit her for that first week (while Jess toured colleges). That week left me in love with #OpalKitten & fostering. I adopted her that Oct. IIRC, I started fostering the following summer.

#MaggieTheDog isn’t long for this world. Without her, I don’t meet #SadieTheCat or Sadie’s people or get into fostering or find my way out of California. She was my first time knowing a pit bull (and the source of my weakness for pitties).
Glad I snuck in a visit when I went to bury Walt in March. Wish I could hug Jessie (her person), Maggie is her #HeartDog.

She’s my most sensitive kitty & been with me the longest now that #SadieTheCat is gone. We met when I babysat her (at ~3 weeks old) for her foster mom. She’s also how I came to foster. The belly is NOT a trap with her but you might question your decision when she grabs you and starts nursing on your hand (likely bc she lost her mom so young) 😬😹😻
