Why are people? Youngest son has had a hard couple of years with concussion and ongoing CRPS to the point he got let go from his job. Now this.

Hatte gehofft, dass es gut wird nach so vielen Sonntagen mit mediokren oder ganz schlechten Tatorten, war's aber leider nicht. Schneider ein Totalausfall. Kurth, Wege, Böwe und Martens besser, aber vom letztgenannten sieht Mensch leider nicht viel. Bei Buch, Schnitt und Regie haben's leider nicht besser gemacht. #sadface

omg, spotlight only gets worse. after the upgrade to Version 15.6 (24G84) it now doesn't even now my apps. Typing slack just gives me tons of websites, but the app isn't in there.
That doesn't bode well for the new and improved spotlight in the next revision. Same with mail search, because of unresponsive UI I end up actually scraping my websites for receipts that are inside my mail, because, wait for it, it is faster! #macOS #sadface

I took a (minor) chance on this Bruel & Kjaer bandpass filter. It was super cheap. Turns out the previous owner had left the batteries in it, and they were a corroded mess. The plastic battery compartment was also broken.
It does have a connection for a power supply on the back, so one option would be to find one of those. There was some corrosion on the componetry inside, though, so it may not be worth the effort.
Sad face. ☹️

Update: I can log into their website and access today's puzzle - but cannot via the app. Maybe a bug?
Update 2: the app is letting me into today’s puzzle now. Will see what happens tomorrow.
