I took a drive up #RiverRoad along the #SacramentoRiver today & saw what looked like a dead #otter run over in the road. 😲

This is an image of the new Benicia Bridge. This bridge was built just down the street of my place of employment. So I was able to witness the slow progress of modern day bridge building.

Took these last night at the conjunction of the #AmericanRiver and #SacramentoRiver.

As multiple California fish species teeter on the brink of extinction, a new project threatens to push them over the edge.

The proposed Sites project—a series of diversions & dams in the Sacramento Valley—would divert more water from the Sacramento River, reducing fresh water flowing to #SFBay.

But the rivers that feed into the Bay-Delta are already dangerously over-tapped, and at a terrible price.
