[9/21] Samsung releases new One UI 9.0 Beta versions to the Galaxy A35 and A55

The One UI 9.0 beta program started for users with the expansion to a few more devices in eligible countries, including the Galaxy A35. It provided several features, such as the Masking Tape feature in Samsung Notes and the enhanced quick panel that allows you to take it to the next level in your style with even more customization options.

Starting from today, One UI 9.0 Beta 2 is now available for those who have already joined the beta program with the Galaxy A35 and the A55. The new beta version of One UI 9.0 is now available to fix some bugs and to incorporate general improvements across the whole operating system based on user feedback and internal evaluation.

One UI 9.0 Beta is available under build ZZI4 for the Galaxy A35 and ZZI4 for the Galaxy A55, which joined the beta program receiving it.

The following changes were made for the Galaxy A35 and A55:

• Bugs that have been fixed
  • Improved camera stability

We encourage you to please report all bugs found to the Beta program community so that Samsung will analyze your feedback and implement fixes and/or improvements based on them.

To update your Galaxy to the newest One UI 9.0 Beta, first make sure that you are already in the beta program. Then, follow these steps:

1. Open Settings, and navigate to System Update
2. Tap on Check for Updates
3. Press Download and Install
4. Wait until the download and the installation is complete, then press Reboot Now
5. Wait until the phone reboots successfully

Make sure that you’re connected to a stable and fast Wi-Fi network to avoid high mobile data fees. Never interrupt the update in any way, or problems could occur later. Make sure that you apply all available updates once you update your phone for maximum stability. An update might take 10 to 20 minutes to apply, depending on the device and the type of the update being applied.

August 2026 security patch expands for Galaxy S25, S24, Z Fold6/7, Z Flip6/7

Samsung have revealed what vulnerabilities the August 2026 security patch has fixed earlier, as you can see here. This kind of update ensures that your phone, your tablet, and other devices become more secure as updates come along. One UI 8.5 Beta Program for the Galaxy S25 FE is now open!

One UI 8.5 has made a significant appearance, with new features, design improvements, and other improvements. We are very thrilled to announce that Samsung has recently opened the One UI 8.5 Beta Program for the Galaxy S25 FE in the following countries:

• Korea
• United States of America
• United Kingdom
• India

This gives us a hint that the Beta Program is now open. Users should be able to try out One UI 8.5 in its earliest shape and form on their Galaxy S25 FE devices.

Please note that Samsung might not have opened the Beta program in your country yet, even if your country is eligible for beta testing. In this case, you’ll have to wait for the beta banner.

To join the Beta Program, you must have the latest version of Samsung Members installed. You can get the latest version through either the Galaxy Store or the Play Store. Once done, you should be able to join the program if you have an eligible device.

EXCLUSIVE: One UI 8.5 Beta forums for the Galaxy S24 FE + S25 FE spotted!

In an unexpected move, while Samsung is testing One UI 8.5 beta builds for the S24 and for the Galaxy Z Fold/Flip6 series, they have also considered testing the beta builds for the S24 FE and the S25 FE.

The below builds have been spotted according to Tarun Vats as mentioned in the above linked article:

• S25 FE: S731NKSU5ZZCB
• S24 FE: S721NKSUAZZCB

While those builds have been spotted, we have conducted further investigation, and we have spotted the One UI 8.5 beta forums for both the Galaxy S24 FE and the Galaxy S25 FE devices, at least in the USA forums!

This means that we are one step closer to Samsung opening the beta program for the Galaxy S25 FE and for the S24 FE devices.

Once the beta program actually opens, we’ll let you know.

Samsung reveals the Galaxy S25 FE

In today’s Galaxy Event September 2025, Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S25 FE, the newest addition to the Galaxy S25 family that first came on January. After the Galaxy S25 Edge, this Fan Edition phone is the latest FE phone that came after the last year’s Galaxy S24 FE.

This latest FE phone brings the most advanced AI experiences, with the powerful AI tools, such as Generative Edit, being available to enhance your productivity, along with Google Gemini, Gemini Live, and Circle to Search. The below Galaxy AI tools are available:

• Generative Edit: This Galaxy AI tools now automatically detects unwanted objects in the background and suggests removals to make your pictures less noisy.
• Portrait Studio: Allows you to use AI to create personalized avatars with more true-to-life facial expressions.
• Instant Slow-mo: Uses AI to slow down favorite parts of your videos to make them more epic and exciting.
• Audio Eraser: Isolates unwanted noise in your videos conveniently using AI.
• Auto Trim: Automatically selects the best moments in your videos footage using AI.

Put AI aside, and you have the most powerful Galaxy FE device ever with the most reliable performance in everyday tasks, such as editing, multitasking, and other heavy tasks. Not only does it contain a 4,900 mAh battery, but it also contains the 45W super-fast charging mechanism that allows you to charge for less time while having more uptime.

For thermal management, the vapor chamber in the Galaxy S25 FE has become larger by 10% to reduce heat and throttle. This allows you to perform heavy tasks and AI processing tasks more smoothly than never before. This also allows you to play games for longer without worrying about heat.

Galaxy S25 FE’s display is a 6.7″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display panel with a 120Hz refresh rate that makes transitions and animations more smooth, while maintaining smoothness in the display. Along with high-resolution display, this characteristic makes your photos and other UI elements look more attractive.

To make the device look more awesome, the enhanced Armor Aluminum frame provides the more refined finish, while increasing the durability. Galaxy S25 FE comes with four colors, which are Icyblue, Jetblack, Navy, and White.

Galaxy S25 FE will maintain seven years of security updates, alongside seven generations of operating system upgrades, to ensure longevity and to make sure that your device stays secure for long. The update cadence will be a monthly update cadence, which means that your phone will be updated monthly with a security update. The phone will come with One UI 8 installed.

Galaxy S25 FE can now be purchased at $649.
