I cannot be trusted with technology π€£ (thanks @pupartemis for the suggestion π)
-
I think I can say it now.
The hardware part of the Screen10 is now complete for this version.I can wear it, I can manage to see though it (although a bit blurry), and it looks SO FREAKING COOL
Now, onto making it easy to control and some extra fun stuff

Can't do a walk test because of the mess and trying to keep some privacy, so here, the mask is ON MY FACE ON ITS OWN
And I can SEE MY PHONE (very blurry though)
-
You can't even imagine how fucking good I feel right now.
IT FREAKING WORKS!
I am SOOOOO close to having something complete (fitting the lenses inside, slightly better cable management) BUT IT DOES WHAT I WANT IT TO DO AAAAAAAA π

What happens when you start cleaning and sorting stuff out...
You get distracted by doing some tests with the hardware you sort and do some test fits!
Some updates required, but a good start πͺ
-
Welp, that's what we call karma I guess π
Went a bit too strong when mounting the screen and heard a louder pop than usual...
-
Some acrylic disc, mirror tint, 3D printing and a bit of soldering and you get... SHINY ππ€©
-
The file for these lens rings can also be found on the S10 Modular Lens Cap repo ("S10 LensOutline.stl") β¨
-
Give me a 3D printer and some UV reactive paint and I'll be unstoppable π€©

CW: Latex, no nudity, Only face is shown with googly eyes
Peak silliness but in video form π

Thanks to @gearlicious and @Skeele pre existing models and some extra idea from @puphex I'm happy to present the S10 Modular Lens Cap β¨

Have fun creating custom blindfolds or equip you mask with a fancy set of lenses π€©
It's all free and made to be shared like so, but like my LED Pup Ring, I can help you out πͺ
Send me a DM or check my brand new Ko-Fi page to commission me for some π

I have achieved peak S10 Silliness
-
Even more options now π
Mix and Match π€© -
I'm on a roll experimenting with lots of design thanks to all your ideas πβ¨
And multicoloured printing is SO good π€―
-
And the results of that painting attempt:
Horrible but a learning experienceThe best thing would be taking advantage of the multi colour print function of my printer, or using spray paint for an even application.
But you get an idea of what could be done π
-
Currently doing the shittiest job at painting going fully blind at it π
In my head it seemed easy π
-
This is just a start, and even features my first attempt at multi colour printing π
-
Just need a paint job and it's going to be AWESOME π€©
(I could have also multi coloured printed these, but I don't have blue or red filament, and it's less waste this way π)
I can basically customise them with super simple inserts for blindfolds π€―
-
Thanks to @Skeele's help, I now have a good base to make lens caps for the S10, and probably a lot of other masks π€©
I can now make blindfolds, mirrored lenses... And maybe that infinity mirror idea π
-
CW: π Latex, suggestive, no nudity
Here, have a post orgasmic drone π€
Still locked π, plugged in β‘π blissful and waiting to go again π
-
This does not look like much, but means that I found a way to do that "cheap" version of the screen lens where you can only stream video to it.
Still some work to do on the software side to make it run consistently though...
-
And a bit of window tint later, It hides the "messy" cables a bit, and ESPECIALLY with the LED off.
Now I should probably add a "off" mode for the out screen to go full stealth π
-
So, the support seems to work π
It's getting a bit crowded in the mask, and unfortunately my choice of lenses seems wrong, so I need to look in to something else that would work...
A setback, but hopefully surmountable πͺ
-
Back to 3D printing and I have NO idea if what I'm doing will work, but hey, that's part of the fun π
Waiting for it to print now β
-
Now everyone say "DROOOONE" for the picture πΈ
Python is full of surprises and fun when you look into it. Now if I can find a way to print that on a wireless portable printer that would be π

This drone is equipped with all sort of sensors to warn you in case of emergencies**X0-Tech is not liable to the non accuracy of these claims π
(with also a sneak peek at the front module mod to hold the camera that I'm working on)
-
Haven't done that many updates as of late, limited energy. But I ended up doing some 3D printing and... Finally getting around modifying my new mask π¬.
I'll also wait on changing the flat lenses because the one I have has a bubble I can't manage to get rid of, and I might swap it for a darker tint.
-
Sometimes, your drone also needs some security feature so that no unauthorised user can take control...
...Or that the drone itself remains locked out ππ
