    #Ryadh, capital city of Saudi-Arabia (close to 8 million inhabitants) is opening the first phase of its brand new metro today: 3 fully automated lines.
    The second phase, another 3 lines, is expected to open mid-december. Planning and building took +- 10 years. 84 stations and 176 km driverless metro. Total cost about 22 billion $. Expected ridership: 3 million trips every day.
