Spoiler | IntroJust stumbled over your post by chance, working on this server and it's forum pages.
We had to move to a new provider and VPS hosting setup and actually delayed that for the time being of the RWC to at least evolve this forum page as far as possible.
The old setup was a BETA testing for friendica servers that actually didn't worked out and the core funtionallity of friendica forums didn't work as expected.
It's still possible that we run into trouble over here, it's kinda adjusting and bug searching thing that comes with the tec itself, federation in particular, open source development and all that stuff. Point being is that if not already, we are now at least able to make this work as it should in terms of functinality.
I'll edit this very answer so you can see how for example "spoilers" look like over here and soon. If you browse this profile on our server you find that most RWC 2023 game reports are only half finished, and actually if time and inspiration shows up I might be able to finish them some day before the next #RWC, one alone can only achieve "so much" you know ..

Spoiler | As this needs wo/menPower .. as an editor for some special occasion I might be able to cover that but in general I wont, so unless someone want's to take care of that, the basic offer is the a.gup.pe functionality of this #forumpage. I will set notification for my self about posts directed to this forum so if I become aware of some upcoming important international event or games I might schedule some post but I can't promise anything.
There is a the chance to use a calender a media page (not sure what that's about actually) and public local and global community pages.
Another neat functionality is the ability to save post's from others into categories,I haven't digged into that. The upcoming #friendica release will add some kind of "channels" that people will be able to subscribe to created by a profile if I got that right, so staying tuned might become even more interesting.

Got a survey from EY on behalf of the #RWC to "improve future competitions." It basically asks where we went and how much we spent and how we got around (but doesn't have an option for the Paris Metro!) and among all the "Rate from 1 to 10" questions doesn't ask about the ticket purchase experience (a 1), the entry to stadiums (also a 1), the beer queues (yes, a 1!), and gives no opportunity for any meaningful feedback. @HarpinOnRugby #rugby #RWC2023

Zasłużone zwycięstwo #RSA #Springboks! Byli w tym meczu lepsi, grali czyściej, mądrzej i – oczywiście – skuteczniej (po raz trzeci jednym punktem!). W ćwierćfinale i półfinale pokazali charakter, a w finale udowodnili, że ich czas w rugby union trwa. Gratulacje czwartego tytułu Mistrzów Świata!

South Africa looking the stronger overall, obviously even more-so with New Zealand down to 14 players (and are arguably a bit lucky not to be down to 13).

Both teams absolutely immovable in defence and over the ball

Absolutamente eletrizante a semifinal #ENGvRSA da #RWC2023 !!!
Depois de ficar atrás no placar a maior parte do jogo os #springboks viraram em cima da Inglaterra nos últimos minutos e vão para final contra os #AllBlacks pela segunda vez consecutiva.

Last night's semi final in the #RWC2023 was #boring and #predictable
So I suspect today's game will be also. Not a great advert for the game and it's ruling authorities.
Maybe there will be some questions as to why the draw took place so early?Why the two tier nations aren't treated equally? and why some of the decisions taken favoured the established teams.
The two quarter final games were the best advert for the game - pity they weren't the semi final matches or even the final.

Nowa Zelandia w finale!!! Po pierwszym meczu, przegranym z Francją, miałem duże wątpliwości, że wejdą do strefy medalowej. Piękny półfinał, wynik nie odzwierciedla przebiegu spotkania – momentami #AllBlacks bronili się "ostatnimi palcami".
Mam przedziwne wrażenie, że kluczowym meczem tego turnieju było spotkanie #IRE z #NZL ;)I nie zgadłem – #ManOfTheMatch został Jordie Barrett :)
Jeśli jutro wygra #RSA (co jest bardzo prawdopodobne – w tym turnieju mają podobną historię, jak #AllBlacks, stoczyli krwawy bój w ćwierćfinale z #FRA), to będziemy w finale mieli starcie tytanów i mecz nie tyle o puchar Webba Ellisa, co o panowanie w świecie #RugbyUnion – czyli o czwarty tytuł Mistrza Świata.
BTW jutro powtórka finału z Japonii sprzed czterech lat. -

Just like the Ire/NZ match-up yesterday, this promises to be a match worthy of a final.
Two very physical teams head to head, but a home crowd for the hosts.
It's been mind games all week, with the Boks choosing a somewhat lighter, nimbler team, and #LesBleus moving to a 6-2 fwds/backs bench.
Nonetheless, if I was coming back from face surgery, this is not a team I'd want to, um, face.
This is going to hurt.
