This by Jenny Turner at @lrb is an outstanding review/essay on #StuartHall 's Selected Writings on #Marxism and on Race and Difference (compiled by Gregor McLennan and #PaulGilroy and #RuthWilsonGilmore, respectively).

The text is a useful introduction to Hall’s trajectory, but also a nuanced reflection on - to put it in Hall’s language- the succession of conjunctures his work lived through.
